What We Do

At Medela Learning Support, we specialize in helping children who need a more individualized approach to learning. Every child acquires knowledge differently, and our goal is to meet them exactly where they are at, by building on their strengths, closing learning gaps, and restoring confidence.

Our practice combines psychology, education therapy, and creativity to design sessions that support each child holistically, addressing cognitive, emotional, and academic needs. We provide structured, hands-on learning experiences that foster independence, motivation, and a love for learning.

Whether your child needs focused help with reading and writing, support with executive functioning, or simply a confidence boost in the classroom, Medela Learning offers tailored sessions built on care, expertise, and connection.

Who We Help

Our support is designed for children who may not fully thrive in traditional classroom settings, whether due to specific learning challenges or unique learning styles.  By identifying learning preferences and addressing barriers early, we help children rediscover their ability to learn successfully and joyfully. We also help neurotypical learners who benefit from extra guidance, structure, or enrichment. We collaborate closely with parents and teachers, ensuring that the strategies used in sessions carry through at home and in school. This continuity is key to helping children gain real, lasting progress.

What to Expect

Each child’s journey with Medela Learning Support begins with a detailed screening to understand their strengths, learning profile, and areas for growth. From there, we combine this screening with any other specialist/teacher assessments and observations to set personalized goals and design a structured plan of support.

Sessions are creative, interactive, and filled with practical activities designed to improve attention, math and literacy skills, executive function, and confidence. Children are encouraged to take ownership of their learning process by celebrating their progress, building resilience, and developing essential study and self-management skills.

Parents receive regular feedback and updates so they can stay informed and empowered to support learning at home too. The goal for children we see is not just improved academic performance, but a deeper sense of confidence and curiosity that carries beyond the classroom.
